My love for English began very early - I went through school with an English scholarship, from age 7 to A level! In 1998 I added to my undergrad primary teaching degree, with postgraduate qualifications in dyslexia interventions, language processing, and therpeutic approaches, whilst also teaching English language across the age range. I later upgraded this further, to a Masters in Psychology, to understand more about language processing and memory.
I tutor from age 7 to GCSE and also offer Functional Skills level 1 and 2. During my time working as head of a 14-19 alternative education provision, English was my main subject and I specialise in teaching learners who face neurodivergent challenges. I've taught in primary and high schools, and tutored AQA GCSE English for many years now, with some excellent results.
