Ash Tutors – Client Terms & Conditions (2026)

1. Scope of service

Ash Tutors provides a managed tuition service, including tutor vetting, matching, setup, and ongoing coordination while tuition is active. Tutors are self-employed professionals and are not employees of Ash Tutors. Ash Tutors manages the arrangement, not lesson delivery.

2. Fees and payments

Tutor lesson fees are agreed separately and paid directly to the tutor. Ash Tutors charges a managed service fee, collected by Direct Debit, which applies while Ash Tutors remains responsible for the arrangement.

3. Lesson scheduling

Ash Tutors operates a rescheduling-first policy. Reasonable efforts should be made to rearrange lessons rather than cancel them.

4. Missed lessons

If a lesson cannot be rescheduled and is skipped, the managed service fee still applies. Tutors may request up to 50% of the lesson fee for late cancellations.

5. Holidays and breaks

Extended breaks may result in loss of a tutor slot. Availability can only be guaranteed while tuition is active.

6. Ending tuition

Clients may end tuition at any time but must inform Ash Tutors so the service fee can be stopped. Fees are collected in arrears.

7. Stepping away from the managed service

If a client continues directly with a tutor outside of the managed service, Ash Tutors’ responsibility ends and this will be confirmed in writing.

8. Safeguarding and liability

Tutors are responsible for their own conduct and insurance. Clients are responsible for ensuring a suitable learning environment.

9. Data handling

Client data is retained only while tuition is active and is removed in line with Ash Tutors’ data-retention policy.

10. Acceptance of terms

By proceeding with tuition, clients confirm acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
