What Ash Tutors Does
Ash Tutors provides a managed private tuition service, supporting families and tutors throughout the duration of tuition.
We personally oversee every arrangement — from tutor selection and matching, through to ongoing coordination while tuition is active. This ensures consistency, clear expectations, and support if circumstances change.
Ash Tutors is not a tutor directory. Tuition is arranged and managed, not simply introduced.
Primary Tuition
At Ash Tutors, we work with children across the primary years, supporting confidence, understanding and long-term learning habits.
As an experienced primary school teacher and tutor myself, I understand how quickly a child can lose confidence — and how difficult it can be to recover once that downward spiral begins. Often it’s not a lack of ability, but small moments of uncertainty that lead to disengagement.

Ash Tutors works with a small number of fully qualified English teachers who are experienced in teaching in schools and understand the demands of the GCSE English curriculum.
We're deliberately selective. Not every tutor who applies is accepted, as subject knowledge alone isn’t enough — professionalism, reliability and the ability to work constructively with families all matter.
