Basically, all you are going to do is to trace and cut out felt hands before using a hot glue gun to stick them to a cushion. If you don't have access to a hot glue gun, you can use stick on with Velcro or iron-on mending tape.

Cute Bowl Of Succulent Plants

Because succulents are water-storage plants they are easy to look after and perfect for forgetful indoor gardeners.

To make your own gift of succulents, buy an attractive ceramic bowl or a plain one that can be decorated. Next, you will need to pay a visit to the local garden centre to pick up a few succulent plants.

Fill the bottom of the bowl with small pebbles and put a layer of suitable soil on top. A good choice would be a basic cactus and succulent soil mix.

Taking the succulent plants one at a time, pack them into the bowl and push the soil tightly around them. This is a lovely Mothers' Day gift and one that will be enjoyed for a long time.

Vintage Soap-filled Tea-Cups

This is a great chance to head out to the local charity shops and pick up a couple of vintage tea cups and saucers.

Making soap with a 'melt and pour' soap base is extremely quick and easy. Here's the best bit! You will only need to melt the soap base in the microwave before adding your own colouring powder and perfume oil before pouring into a mould.

My personal tip to ease the soap out of the mould without any trouble is to pop it into the freezer for 15 minutes to set. The soap will then pop out of the mould with a slight squeeze.
