Andrea comes to us from a recommendation from one of our long-standing and established tutors. She has over 22 years of primary teaching experience behind her, so she's taught in practically every primary year group at one time or another. Her current role involves phonics work and the early development of reading and writing, which in turn gives her a deeper understanding of the difficulties children face further up the school and during Year 6 SATS. Gary has a wealth of teaching experience over the last 24 years, from primary to secondary and even 6 years as a head teacher. We are very lucky to be able to offer someone with such a broad knowledge of the school system and of teaching in a range of styles. If Gary hasn't seen and done it, it likely didn't exist! Although Gary is well-versed teaching both maths and English at primary level, one of his particular specialties is tutoring reading at KS1.

Natalie has been with us since the start and has over 12 years experience as a qualified maths teacher in an Outstanding School. She has had many experiences with 1 to 1 tutoring of GCSE pupils specifically aiming to achieve various grades. All her lessons are planned to suit the student's specific needs, with feedback given outlining what has been taught and any areas to work on themselves in preparation for the next lesson. She is also an Examiner for Edexcel and marks GCSE papers and KS2 SATS papers (at primary level) which gives her an excellent insight into what examiners are looking for.

Hannah has been teaching for a few years now in various primary schools, so has the added benefits of not only being right up to date with current best practices, but also having tested them out 'in the field' ! She's worked in a few schools with various demographics, so has the experience to successfully tutor children from any background, and with any particular learning goal. I can personally vouch for Hannah's proficiency and work ethic - as I taught her myself! :)

Kathryn has been teaching maths for many years right from the primary age range up to GCSE and adult. She has worked in various primary schools as the developer and facilitator of a programme called 'Family Numeracy' which she delivered with great success. If maths is a difficulty for your child, Kathryn would be a great choice!

Jane has over 22 years of primary teaching experience from Nursery to Year 6, and is an expert in early years education - specialising in the early struggles of phonics acquisition, reading fluency, spellings of keywords, the fluidity of writing and reading comprehension. She's also worked extensively with Upper Juniors so is right up to date with the new SATS requirements, helping to boost students prior to Year 6 statutory tests. Teachers with such a wealth of experience rarely crop up!

Sharon is one our longest serving tutors, with several years of satisfied clients and outstanding testimonials to her name. Although she can also teach maths up to Year 6, Sharon specialises in English tuition in preparation for GCSEs or 'A' levels. She also has experience in teaching towards private school entrance exams. Such tutors are difficult to come by, so you are advised to book her early! Sharon tutors via online lessons.

Vicky has been teaching at primary level for many years. She has a vast experience of class teaching and one to one teaching, including qualifications to teach children with a range of special educational needs, including dyslexia. She's been an advisory teacher for her local authority and also a deputy head. We're lucky to have her, and she'd be an excellent choice for any primary children needing a boost in their educational performance.

Sharon is a highly experienced Reception and Early Years primary teacher with over 27 years under her belt. She has taught in several local schools and is still teaching today - so is well up to date and no doubt has seen 'new initiatives' come, go and come around again during her time 'at the chalk-face'! Sharon has taught children with varying needs over the years, including children with autism, Downs, ADHD and other academic and behavioural needs. She currently teaches in a local special school. She specialises in Reception and Early years so is ideally placed to tutor children at that end of the educational spectrum.

Fiona has taught children with Special Needs for over 20 years, working as a head of ASD for the past 14. Fiona specialises in teaching children with ASD and/or dyslexia - although is happy to teach children across the primary phases, and also has experience teaching secondary children with special needs. She has many years of experience teaching 1 to 1 and with small groups teaching intervention programmes. She has particular in-depth knowledge teaching children below Level 3 who are making little or no progress, or who show behaviours of ADD or ADHD. These skills would suit any child who is struggling to progress through school.

Janice has been involved in teaching, in one form or another, ever since qualifying in 1976. In her extensive teaching career she has worked with a wide variety of age groups. She has taught in Nursery, Infant, Junior, and Secondary Schools, as well as having done a 6-year stint in a Sixth Form College. She also has more than 14 years' experience as a private tutor. 

Danielle has been teaching for several years now. She was personally recommended by a good friend of mine, and as well as the few years in the job behind her, she also has several years as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to her credit, something which not many PGCE teachers will have. Del has worked with us now for several years and has many satisfied clients to her name. With a huge range of teaching experience in a wide variety of situations behind her, Del is an excellent choice either to help with a specific educational difficulty or in preparation for SATS. Del has proven time and again that she has the teaching skills, the patience and the ability to help children from a range of ability levels and needs to reach their goals.

Maria can teach all across the Primary phase and has also taught towards Year 2 and Year 6 SATs. She has been been a one to one tutor in a school setting and has taught SATS 'booster' sessions. She has been involved several outstanding OFSTED inspections; had responsibility for subject co-ordinating in school; and has taught children with special needs within a mainstream setting.
